What kinds of products do you use?
Are your products safe?
We use only FDA approved top of the line, professional, theater quality make-ups/face and body paint because we are committed to the safety of our clients. These water-based formulas are specifically designed to be hypo-allergenic, gentle and easy to remove with mild soap and water. The brands we use are Kryvaline, Mehron, Wolfe, Glimmer and Tag. We use only make-up grade glitters.
Unfortunately, some painters aren't aware of the facts and are using non-toxic acrylic paint.  This may be non-toxic if ingested but they are NOT made for the skin.  If you spot an unknown painter at an event please ask the painter what paints they are using prior to being painted.  Stay safe.
How far do you travel?
We service the Grande Prairie city limits + 5 KM for FREE.  We also service the area beyond the city limits and the
entire Peace Region with travel fee.  Just give me a call at 780.882.3381.

Do you hold public liability insurance?
Yes. We hold insurance coverage for $2,000,000.00 and we are happy to provide a photocopy upon request.

Do you have a minimum booking time?
Yes, typically one hour minimum. Any time over the first hour is pro-rated and we only bill for the time we need. We do like to spend at least 3-5 minutes with each child to give them a pleasant, unrushed experience. This will allow us to accommodate 10-12 children per hour. Please keep this in mind when booking.
Can you paint within the theme of my child's party?
Absolutely! Just let us know the theme of the party when booking and we will make sure to have some designs ready for the event. Though, keep in mind that more time may be needed per child depending on the complexity of the design and this may affect the booking time.
How soon should I book?
As soon as the date is confirmed. Obviously, the nearer to the date of the party you get the less chance you have of any our expert painters being available.
Will I need to pay a deposit?
For certain events, a 50% deposit may be requested along with the signed booking form. This secures your date. General deposits will be  refunded if you cancel within 15 days after the date you reserved. Beyond that the deposit is non-refundable. Please note, all bookings of Stat Holiday events are final and a non-refundable deposit must be paid at the time of booking.

What do I need to provide?
In most cases clients like to have a small table or portion of table and 2 chairs per painter ready for us.  But, we are professionals and we can bring whatever you are needing us to bring.

Can you paint at Fundraising Events?
Yes we can.  Please contact us with your event details and we can quote you with applicable discounts.
What if my child objects?
If a child is reluctant to have his or her face painted, we cannot comply with the wishes of the parent or carer over the desire of the child. Young children do not always understand face painting - someone they do not know is doing something to them, which they cannot see - so a small design on the hand may be more enjoyable for them. They can see what is being done, feel in control of the situation, and can look at it and enjoy it for the rest of the day.
What if I have a rash or other skin condition?
Anyone who, in our opinion, appears to be suffering from a cold sore, conjunctivitis, or any other infectious skin complaint cannot be painted. Similarly, eczema, open cuts and grazes are not suitable surfaces to paint. However, a design on the cheek, hand or arm may be possible.
What about sickness?
We are unable to paint anyone suffering from cold/flu symptoms. Hay fever sufferers are advised to have a design on the cheek, hand or arm. Lastly, we reserve the right to refuse to paint anyone who is abusive, violent or intoxicated.

How do I get this stuff off?
The best way to wash off water-based face paint is to use a wash cloth with mild/baby soap.
